2013 Chevrolet Spark Heads To The State

        General Motors who is set to enter into the US small car market with the 2013 version of the Spark (known as the Beat in India) has revealed its prices. The Spark was showcased at the 2011 LA Auto Show last November when the company made its intentions clear of entering into the small car market. The Spark is set to be launched in the later half of this year but the company has revealed the prices ahead for convenience of the customers at the on-going 2012 New York Auto Show.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga On The Way

           We have been updating you about the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga since a long time. Recently we spotted the Ertiga doing a TVC shoot and finally we have confirmed news that deliveries to dealers has started. From last week of Maruti finally started rolling out Ertigas to dealers pan India and the company has dispatched 1117 units in March 2012. As diesel variants are also on the cards (first diesel MUV for Maruti Suzuki), company was waiting for budget to arrive. As a sigh of relief, budget came with no extra duties being levied on diesel cars and as soon as the budget came out Maruti Suzuki started the process of launching Ertiga with no further delay.

This mid-sized SUV, also known as Toyota SW4 in global market, is actually based on Toyota Hilux’s platform (It is a pick-up truck not present in India). The vehicle was originally designed by Toyota Technical Centre in Australia. It is assembled in India from CKD kits by Toyota Kirloskar Motors Pvt. Ltd.
